Ok, so, I am not one to over-react (yeah right) but I just got the travel confirmation from our agency for our lovely carrier and her bff. So, I was reading through it, which is something I NEVER do...that is Brian's job. I make sure everyone is emotionally ok, I make sure the bff books Dr. Phil, I make sure we have tickets to "Chelsea Lately." Brian is business and I am emotions. Something told me to look at the itinerary. So...I did.
Ok, can you say DOUCHE! All together now...D-O-U-C-H-E! How can one person mess up so much??? No, seriously, the lady from the clinic had to book the travel arrangements. Her ONLY job. Did she do it correctly...NO!
So, the ladies are flying an airline I would not let my DOG fly on. They are staying at a posh hotel (tres chic, which I like) but not the one we previously discussed (the one where we are in adjoining rooms...the one where they have two beds this time, not just the one). Oh, and they booked them a rental car...but why? Neither woman WANTS to drive in LA, and can you blame them? Oh, I also forgot to mention...the flight they are supposedly on, you know, on the worse-than-dog-crap airline, is flying out of Nashville. Um, so, the ladies are to drive 2 hours to take a flight???
I just spoke to our carrier. She is fine with leaving from Nashville, ok with a car (G-d only knows why) but not excited about different hotels or the airline. Now, if it were my child...oh wait, it is...I would change the flight and book the same hotel. Hmmm, theirs is nicer, maybe an upgrade for us?

I wish I could understand better about what is going on. Why is everyone going to LA? Is your carrier preganant yet or is this why you are all going? I suppose the people closest to you have a better understanding. Anyway, best of luck. I hope it works out for you.
